Q1. How can I transfer funds into my trading account?

Q2. How can i place funds payout request & how much time is taken?
Any funds payout request can be easily placed online through your Back Office login and MVT Trader. First, select Funds payout option & fill the required amount. The NEFT transfer will be processed next day & the same must get credited within 2 to 48 hours depending on time taken by your bank.
Q3. When will i get shares bought by me today?
Exchange settles account in 2 days, thus, any shares bought today generally get credited on T+2 days after 2 pm. Owing to the short delivery by the seller, there can be a small delay. But, in such scenario, you may be entitled to get refund / close out in event of short delivery by the auction seller.
Do not sell shares until you have received shares in your account. Else, exchange will impose penalty for short selling as per exchange norms; which maybe up to 20% of closing price of auction day. Check your holdings in Value trader Surveillance Holding Get Holding or SHORTCUT KEY Alt+F9
Q4. I sold shares today. When will i get credit?
On respective exchanges settlements only, normally it is T+ 2 working days. So, amount will get credited on T+2 days. You may place payout request thereafter.
Q5. WHAT IS MIS, CNC & NRML PRODUCT?
MIS( Margin Intraday Square off) :- This is an intraday trading product, that is, same day buying & selling. You are required to square off the positions 15 minutes prior to the respective market closing else system may auto square off all outstanding positions in product MIS.
Product is allowed in all segments CNC (Cash & Carry):-- This is for Delivery trading. You can buy shares & take delivery on T+2. But, you can sell shares only if you have these shares in your holding. Product is allowed only in cash Segment. You will get immediate credit for sale if holding is sold in CNC.
NRML:- It is for c/f (carry forward) derivatives trading and for selling of stocks lying with other DP / non poa holdings as well, Provided DIS sent on time. This can also be used for delivery trading.
Short sell can be done; however, you will be imposed penalty for short selling as per exchange norms; which maybe up to 20% of closing price of auction day. Product is allowed in all segments Please make sure that you trade (buy & sell) shares in same Exchange & product type.
Q6. What happens if i have debit in my account?
If you buy shares, please clear your debit balance within T+2 days. Else you will be charged penal interest for the number of debit days. Also note, that you can carry debit only up to T+6 days. Positions will be squared off, on 7th day up to ageing debit or the complete stocks when the Margin /MtoM alert triggers.
Q7. What happens if i use margin for trading?
We charge margins as per exchange norms/Risk Policy. Please refer scrip margin file. In case of margin shortage, your positions will be squared off. Please maintain sufficient balance to avoid square off.
Q8. What are the account opening charges??
We charge Rs/- 555 as account opening charges. There is no AMC for Trading but for DP AMC we charge Rs/- 400 per year which is waived of for the first year.
Q9. How can I reset the online trading password?
On login page where we put user ID & Password, there is an option “Forgot password”. After selecting that it will ask you for “User ID/Trading code”, “Email ID” and “PAN Number” to authenticate. Then new password will be sent to your registered email ID.
